DAVID COLLSAILOR · ARCACHON BAY

01 / SAILING ASSIGNMENTS

A crew member who finds
their place on board.

Owner, skipper or recruiter: I offer my experience in racing, coastal sailing and offshore deliveries as a deck crew member.

  • Boat preparation, manoeuvres and seamanship
  • Watches, lookout duties and participation in navigation
  • Routine upkeep and crew life
  • Listening, teaching and team spirit

Departure, destination, boat, duration and crew: these details will help us define the assignment and my role on board.

02 / CRUISE IDEAS

Less noise.
More horizon.

Make a landfall, take part in manoeuvres and share life aboard. I am developing a cruise project for people who want to discover a different side of sailing.

The project is in preparation: there are no departures or bookings open yet. Your sailing ideas can help shape what comes next.

With family, friends or on your own: tell me where you would like to sail, when, and what you hope to experience on board.

BEFORE SETTING SAIL

Your questions, answered.

Where are you based ?

In La Teste-de-Buch, on Arcachon Bay. I have sailed in the Atlantic, the English Channel and the Mediterranean. The embarkation location is discussed for each assignment.

Do the 210 sea days represent all your experience?

No. These are days recorded through associations or professional contracts. They represent only part of a much broader sailing background.

Have you already obtained the Captain 200 and Yachtmaster?

No. I have been admitted to Captain 200 sailing training but have not started it. The Yachtmaster Offshore is also in preparation. The CMP and BACPN are among the certificates I have obtained.

Can I book a cruise yet?

Not yet. The project is in preparation. You can share your sailing ideas for a conversation, without making a booking or payment.

How can I propose a sailing assignment?

Describe the boat, departure and arrival ports, dates, expected duration and role required. Contact me by phone or email to discuss the assignment.
